ERINA SMITH - SELFIE AT MAHIA

Erina is from Te Mahia and is a descendant of Hacken Schmidt, the Prussian whaler and trader who was active in the Mahia Peninsula in the 19th century.

Erina is a permanent care giver to a family member as well as a mother and grandmother. She is an ex-service person and has worked at Te Taiwhenua O Heretaunga, a large Māori health and social services provider based in Hastings.
